Bergmästardömet Sala in English

Referred to as the white city, even though the silvery marble has a distinct green cast that has also been blackened by soot beyond recognition.

2033 began the second silver age in the mine of Sala. The deep-seated second silver vein was exploited to the full, while the old mine shafts was rebuilt into a functioning underground society. The entrance was sealed when the war broke out and reopened in 2117 after 70 years of isolation. The opening was celebrated with a week of fighting against fortune finders who eventually was beaten back by Salas police force, the Mountain Guard. During the 28 years that the gates have been open, Sala and the outside world slowly adapted to each other. The city is still located below ground, although its market has begun to spread up to the area around the mine entrance.

Radio Active took over the radio reporting from Sala shortly after the gates opened. The first contacts were via radio with Sala's former radio station "Silver Radio" much earlier. It was not long after the opening before the station set up Radio Actives logotype and expanded both physically and on the radio airwaves. As entertainment has always been the alpha and omega of Salas elite, it was not long before star reporters such as Volt and Zonica mingled among them.
