Leo the hero is the shining saviour of his village, the Lion of Stråssa and the idol of thousands. Famous for his dashing good looks and deeds of daring-do, this hero bestrides the wasteland like a colossus.
Leo the warrior has slayed more of Pansarvargarna than any man, woman or mutant alive, and he has singlehanbedly stopped the inbred hordes of Lindesberg from overrunning the emporium of Stråssa Sinterverk.
Leo the great is admittedly narcissistic and obsessed with his hairdo. In 2146, Detektivbyrå Tre lingon drove through the middle of a massive firefight with 1'000 caps as ransom for Leo's pliers.

Seeking Revenge
Captain Leo was the victim of the great Lion Hunt of 2147, a vicious desinformation smear campaign directly followed by a lynchmob hunting down their great protector. In 2148, he seeks his revenge.
The great hero of Stråssa, Leo, has experienced a disturbing morning. Upon waking, he found out that this village was not his own anymore. Apparently, people looked strangely on him, and some even shot after him in the street!
Driven on by intel condemning Leo as a traitor, a large party of citizens has marched out into the wilderness, hunting for the fallen lion. Yet there no Leo is to be found. The lion hunters instead return to town, their resolve and manpower starting to fray away.
Leo seems to be rooting out the source of these disturbing troubles, and that source is indeed approaching...
Forward scouts of the lion hunt party reaches Leo.
Marching ahead of the stragglers, and splitting with much of the column, those in the lead march boldly toward the famed warrior.
Yet suddenly, Panzer Wolves strike from behind! Scatter, take cover, fight back!
The lion hunters cut down their share of Panzer Wolves, yet so too does Leo. Is not this enough to prove his innocence and his loyalty toward beleaguered Stråssa?
The call rings out. A woman shouts: "How can you accuse Leo of betraying us? Didn't you see how he fought the Panzer Wolves just now!?"
Konduktör Én (K): "Ooh, as if throwing away a paltry five minions would deceive us. No! YOU went to a mutant brothel! YOU have betrayed Stråssa! YOU are involved in the wild mutant business! YOU collaborate with the Panzer Wolves and train them to become better fighters! And you're very handsome!" Leo streaks his hair with a finger, acknowledging his famous good looks.
K: "You it was who let twenty Panzer Wolves in through the front gate of the pallisade yesterevening! We know that you have trained the Panzer Wolves from a ragtag mob into a thinking fighting force! They have become dangerous, and it is the doing of your tactical genius! We know that you plan to strike and seize all Stråssa for yourself and your inbred minions! But we have assembled to stop you!
Leo asks if we really want to go all the way with this. Challenge accepted! K: "Back off from blast radius! Lion hunters! Open fire!" Rednar: "Who shall I shoot? You or Leo?" K: "Leo!"
The mighty hero of Stråssa is rapidly mowed down in a smattering of small arms fire, while Pang i Bygget's bazooka roars. Shot down from behind by Lennart, too, as seen here!
K & Vadim, Captain of the Red Front, are both quick to shout: "Cease fire! No more shooting!"
K, as he strolls around Leo's fallen body: "He deserves a hero's funeral for his former services."
The deed is done. Now, time for evidence. Asked by it, K is forced to name the source: "The Dukhi!" But can you trust them? wonders the crowd. What's your source? K: "I swear upon my own honour as an honest man!" Audible gasps are heard from somewhere.
Disbelief hangs in the air.
Leo is attended by confused Stråssa inhabitants.
They realize that they have just shot down their own heroic protector.
Behold the suffering of the fallen hero!
Betrayed by his own. Betrayed by those he had sworn to protect. Betrayed for nothing but lies. What a wound! Worse than any damage to the flesh.
Smiler the highwayman demands payment. K: "You'll get nothing. I'm broke!" Konduktören is cut down from behind and left mangled by the wayside, with a hammer blow to the skull.
The tragedy is a fact, and the fallen hero is supported on the shoulders of others on his way back to town.
How could this ever happen? Leo, fallen to his own people's bullets for a heap of lies?
As the dust clears, the corpses of the Panzer Wolf raiders are left strewn in the Sinterdust...
...as is the instigator of this madness.
A good hunt! What a prey! Ingratitude is the world's sole reward. Isn't that right, Leo? And so a dark chapter of insanity and witch hunt closes in the annals of Stråssa. A brief moment, when rabid hatred flared up for the man everyone looked up to and everyone tought they could trust. A glimpse of madness, when the people betrayed their own champion, and mowed him down in cold blood. Thus concluded the infamous Lion Hunt of 2147 AD.
