TRANSAT EXCOR

TRANSAT (Formerly TransAtlantic corporation) was a government subsidized corporation that harvested large amounts of goverment grants in the last days before the world fell for their innovative solutions to surviving the impeding doom, diversifying their portfolio in such areas as underground habitats, nutritional fungus farms, nuclear shields from astral objects and more. One of the regional boards stationed in the north of sweden survived the calamity, and brainstormed the EXCOR (Expeditionary Corps) project which was greenlit in 2135. Motorized surveyor units were sent out into the wasteland to compile revised maps of the world and find and reestablish contact with the TRANSAT projects. Being underequipped and over designed, most of the EXCOR units were lost quickly, but some say one is still out there, toiling away at their assignment...
