Current leader of the pack of machine dogs that has been visiting and roaming near Stråssa.
He’s a gasoline sniffing fanatic. An aggressive, charismatic, sadistic, cunning, violence loving and maybe a tad bit unpredictable road pillager.
Turbo has been the leader of this pack of Dogs for the last few years (a long time in Machine Dog years), before that he was just another crazy road warrior. Back then he was known (if he was even noticed) more for stupid bravery than for smarts, but has risen to the occasion after the shamans picked him – now he’s hell bent on carving out a bigger name for himself, but above all, thae Machina cult and its dogs.
Turbo was born in Termina 5. The home of the Machina Cult. A crudely fortified complex housing the cults shamans, traders, crafters, farmers, vehicles and raiders – and above all, the Great Machine. In this constantly humming, gasoline smelling chaotic mess – the then young Turbo was picked at a young age to be a warrior and raider in one of the weaponized branches of the cult – the Machine Dogs. Desperate to prove himself, the young dog acted much like many other Road Warriors. He screamed to match the engines, he raided, he tried to take on any challenge. But his body failed him, grew weak and frail. Fearing he wouldn’t have the strength to die a high octane enough death, he pushed himself harder and harder – and eventually, like an engine pushed too hard, his body gave up on him. The blood coughing, sick Turbo was taken to Termina 5 to die and become fuel, either blood for the Shamans or fertilizer for the crops.
The great machine (or just dumb luck) wanted something else though. The meat mechanics put him to rest close to the Great Machine, and slowly Turbo got better. Over the coming 10 months, Turbo lived in Termina 5, gradually getting better.. gradually learning of the other groups that called the fortress their home. Not just the raiding dogs and vultures, but the whole society. He also –with the help of the wise shamans – saw that the way they lived now could not last forever. The Machina cult was growing, and the great engine needed fuel not found on the roads. And as Turbos eyes were opened, the Shamans saw potential in him. There was a brain in there, if yet a chaotic one, he had potential to lead. The now healed (and now more radiation infected) Turbo rose as TURBO DIESEL, pack leader of a sizeable group of Machine Dogs.
He sees himself as a person gifted with near supernatural gifts - being able to see the "truth" in people he meets. How true this is is debatable, but he seems to believe it.
Turbo's Tapes
TURBO DIESEL fashions himself an artist. Creating and directing torture tapes where he (or other dogs - usually the Shaman "Rabies Road Rage") tortures people the road warriors capture. The pack leader picks people he think will perform well on the tapes - or people who seem like tough survivors. The "stars" are then worked on until they finally break.. Finally begging to die. Turbo records that moment, and has a bit of a collection of tapes that he and the other dogs listen to for entertainment.
