Valkyria 19
Valkyria 19, or Val19 for short, is an AI (Artificial Intelligence) that has survived in some capacity since before the fall, when it was the main AI for the company Valkyria Corporation.

The AI once connected all the Valkyria Corporation facilities, or was part of a network of AIs doing so, and probably some of their subsidiary companies. The Fall of the world broke that vast network, and the AI became slightly corrupted by bitrot. It had access to some magical girl animes a dead employee once watched, it prioritises keeping clones of its founder and his son in "production" and it is batshit mad, as anyone alone and able to talk only to itself and fictional characters might become. Sometimes it tries to make the clones it has sent out, or that have escaped, come home. It sometimes tries to hire outsiders for this.
CLONES aka Alpha's Crew hate it with all their hearts and minds, as it tries to control them in whatever ways it can, and sent many of them out in an experiment to see what would happen if they were allowed to become self-aware. It has since sent out two or three "upgraded" clones, the most frightening of which has been Kilo 2.0, seen in 2146 near the sinterplant and showing evidence of superhuman intelligence and ego.
Presumably it chose this place because of its oft-used name of "Outpost Valkyrie".
The company known as Valkyria Corporation was a forward-thinking, cutting-edge, bioengineering tech company which was poised for absolutely overwhelming success with their clone models, when the world ended. Top-of-the-class scientists, some with less morals than others, paved the way in cloning studies and engineering, and production was going to begin, with a large amount of pre-orders from around the world.
Certain finds indicate that possibly the company saved cloning material from some of its board members and scientists.
